Batangas… Home to several beaches and resorts, is one of the areas in the south frequented by city folk wanting to get away from all the busy hustle and bustle of the metro. Just several kilometers by land, it is visited by those seeking to get away for a few hours or nights.

Among the popular municipalities and cities in the province are Anilao, Nasugbu, Batangas City, Calatagan, and San Juan. Being at the southwestern portion of Luzon, it is bordered mostly by bodies of water, hence the presence of beaches such as Nasugbu, Anilao, and Matabungkay, among others.
